Zen Foto Gallery was established in Tokyo in September 2009 by Mark Pearson as a photography gallery and publisher specialising in Asian photography.
The gallery's programme spans both contemporary and historical Asian photographic works, with a focus on experimental exhibitions that bring rarely seen material to wider attention. Most exhibitions are accompanied by Photobooks produced in limited editions — publications that function as primary documents of the gallery's exhibition activity and as independent objects in their own right.
Lokator100 stocks a selection of Zen Foto Gallery titles, held in keeping with the shop's broader interest in specialist photography publishing from independent and artist-led sources. Publications are dispatched tracked from Germany.
