Chose Commune is an independent publishing house based in Marseille, France, founded in 2014 by Cécile Poimbœuf-Koizumi. The programme is built around artist books across three disciplines: photography and photobooks, works on paper, and ceramics.
Each publication is developed in close collaboration with the artist, with sustained attention to format, sequence, and materials. The editorial focus is on lesser-known figures within an international context — introducing or reintroducing work that has not received wide distribution.
