TBW Books — Independent Photography Publisher
TBW Books is an independent photography publishing house founded in Oakland in 2006 by Paul Schiek. The catalogue concentrates on contemporary photobooks and book-length photographic work, selected with sustained attention to the medium rather than market cycles.
In 2023, TBW launched Workshop de Allende, a photographic arts retreat in Mexico. The following year, a partnership with the Miner Anderson Family Foundation extended the publisher's scope to support the work of underrepresented artists — a commitment that has shaped recent releases in the catalogue.
Titles from TBW Books are held here as part of Lokator100's Photography & Photobooks offer. Each copy is documented accurately, packed with care, and dispatched from Germany with tracking.
