His publishing and exhibition history is closely tied to Zen Foto Gallery, Tokyo's principal platform for Japanese photography books. His debut publication appeared through that imprint in 2012, the same year he exhibited internationally at art book fairs in Hong Kong, Taipei, and Los Angeles.
