About the Book

Between 1997 and 2003, the Cybernetic Culture Research Unit (CCRU), a radical theory collective loosely associated with the University of Warwick, produced some of the most enigmatic and disruptive texts in contemporary philosophy and cultural theory. CCRU Writings 1997–2003 compiles key essays, documents, and mytho-poetic fragments that explore hyperstition, technocapitalism, Lemurian time-warping, and fictional realities as engines of socio-cultural mutation. Operating at the outer edge of academia, the CCRU included figures like Nick Land and Sadie Plant, and shaped the foundation of accelerationist and speculative theory today. This volume, published by Urbanomic, is both a historical document and a vector of conceptual contagion.

Note: The book has never been read or used. The cover shows light scuff marks and minor corner wear from storage. These are clearly visible in the product photos and do not affect the content or readability.

About the Author

The Cybernetic Culture Research Unit (CCRU) was an experimental theoretical collective founded at the University of Warwick in the 1990s. Though unofficial and controversial, its members—such as Nick Land, Sadie Plant, Mark Fisher, and others—developed a unique philosophical hybrid drawing from Deleuze, occultism, cyberpunk, rave culture, and complexity theory. CCRU's ideas spread through samizdat texts, early internet blogs, and sound experiments.

We pack books to arrive in the condition described: protected corners, rigid backing, paper cushioning, and a sturdy outer package. Heavier or collectible editions receive an extra layer of protection. Any defects are documented on the product page—packing doesn’t hide condition, it reduces transit risk.

Tracking is included for all services and is provided once the parcel is handed over to the carrier. During peak periods, transit times may extend. See the Shipping Policy.
