About Manuela Schiano

Manuela Schiano is an Italian artist from Naples. She trained at the State Art School of Naples and later studied at the Academy of Fine Arts before shifting toward theatre work. Her drawing practice emphasizes detail, ink, and print processes, with a strong interest in Japanese culture and folk myths. For her projects, she often starts from photographic references and develops images through inking and print-minded composition.
