Mana by Dina Omut
Mana is the first comic book by Romanian artist Dina Omut. Drawn from Transylvanian folklore, it follows an ambiguous and all-encompassing bond between a young girl and a mysterious mushroom — a relationship that resists simple reading, held together by Omut's precise, atmospheric line work. Published by Hollow Press in November 2023, the book sits within the publisher's ongoing commitment to artists working at the edge of the Experimental Comics & Graphic Narratives form. Printed in full colour on 140g paper in A4 format, with stapled binding, it is a first printing in a limited edition of 1,000 copies.
