About the Book
Blending his cinephile obsessions with his most intimate nightmares, Pierre La Police conjures up the kind of Z-movies that only Hollywood’s most unhinged directors might have dreamt of—somewhere between two trips at the bottom of their swimming pools.
"Traumavision" invites us to imagine the masterpieces Russ Meyer might have made, had he filmed with Bruce Lee, a few dwarfs, and copious amounts of blood and gore.

About the Author
Pierre La Police is a pseudonymous Paris-based artist who emerged from the French underground arts scene in the 1990s. His work spans comics, animation, and video installations, characterized by grotesque humor and absurdist narratives. Notably, his series Les Praticiens de l’Infernal gained cult status through its publication in Les Inrockuptibles. La Police's art challenges conventional aesthetics, blending surrealism with satirical commentary.
