About the Book
TTP by Hayahisa Tomiyasu presents a sustained five-year observation from the window of the artist’s apartment in Leipzig, documenting the shifting life around a single ping pong table. Used as a resting place, playground, dining spot, or drying surface — but rarely for table tennis — the scene becomes a quiet study of repetition, seasonality, and social habit. Winner of the 2018 MACK First Book Award, this publication offers a precise and understated portrait of public space and human routine.
