TTP by Hayahisa Tomiyasu records a sustained five-year view from the artist’s apartment in Leipzig. The camera stays with one public ping pong table as its use shifts over time. The table becomes a bench, a drying surface, a dining spot, or a casual meeting point.

This photobook is built on repetition and small differences. Seasons pass, routines return, and the same place hosts new gestures. The humor stays quiet and observational. The book reads as a precise study of public space and social habit.

About Hayahisa Tomiyasu

Hayahisa Tomiyasu (b. 1982, Kanagawa, Japan) is a Japanese photographer known for conceptual approaches to everyday observation. His work often tests how duration and fixed viewpoints shape meaning. He focuses on ordinary urban situations, where repetition reveals structure and quiet humor. Tomiyasu also teaches photography and continues to examine how people occupy shared environments.
