Larry Clark — Photobooks & Artist Publications
Larry Clark began photographing his peers in Tulsa, Oklahoma in the early 1960s, producing a body of work centred on youth, drug use, sexuality, and subcultural life. His 1971 book Tulsa and the 1983 publication Teenage Lust established him as a significant figure in American documentary photography. His photographs are held in public collections including the Whitney Museum of American Art and the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.
This collection at Lokator100 gathers the Larry Clark photobooks and artist publications currently available through the shop — an independent bookstore based in Germany. Titles are selected individually and dispatched with care. Among the publications available is Return by Larry Clark, a key title in the current catalogue.
Clark's books sit within a broader tradition of American subcultural and documentary photography. For related titles and publications in the same field, see the Photobooks collection. For publications from STANLEY/BARKER, a publisher active in serious photography and artist books, that collection is available separately.
