Bad Space – Volume 1 collects Scott Base’s cult webcomic into a sustained speculative narrative. The tone is satirical and dry. Space exploration appears as routine labor. Artificial intelligence becomes another exhausted system. The heroic myth collapses under irony.

Drawn in crisp black and white, Bad Space – Volume 1 follows burned-out robots and disillusioned humans. The humor stays sharp, but the world-building remains controlled. The result reads as indie comics with a critical sci-fi edge rather than a conventional space adventure.
