About Bad Space Volume 1 - Scott Base - Regular Edition

Bad Space Volume 1 Scott Base collects a cult webcomic into print with the calm of a specimen drawer. Space here is not discovery. It is routine, burnout, and the long echo after progress. The humor is dry. The damage is quiet.

Published by The Mansion Press, this first volume gathers iconic strips and adds extras, including “The Suit” plus previously unpublished pages and exclusive art. It reads fast, then lingers. The book keeps a controlled distance, yet it bites when you least expect it.

As an object, Bad Space Volume 1 Scott Base is made for the shelf. You get 268 B&W pages in a 20 × 20 cm softcover with flaps, finished with hot silver stamping. The edition is in English; bibliographic records list 2025 for the print volume.

About Scott Base

Scott Base writes and draws Bad Space in Wellington, Aotearoa New Zealand. The project is built as short-form sci-fi shocks, often in tight strip structures, with horror pressure and bleak comedy held in balance. The work’s strength is consistency: a clear line, a controlled pace, and endings that refuse comfort.

Packaging & Shipping

We pack books to arrive in the condition described: protected corners, rigid backing, paper cushioning, and a sturdy outer package. Heavier or collectible editions receive an extra layer of protection. Any defects are documented on the product page—packing doesn’t hide condition, it reduces transit risk.

We ship from Germany, usually on the next business day after payment. Germany: typically 2–5 business days, EU: often 3–7 business days; international depends on destination and customs. Tracking is included for all services and is provided once the parcel is handed over to the carrier. During peak periods, transit times may extend. See the Shipping Policy.

Returns

Returns are possible within 30 days of delivery (e.g., if the item doesn’t match the description or you changed your mind). Please contact us before sending anything back—we’ll provide the return address and the best return option. Items should be returned in the same condition as received. Once the return is received and checked, we refund to the original payment method. See the Refund Policy.
