Postapoland — Post-Apocalyptic Comic by Bartosz Zaskòrski
The comic opens with a sequence of nested enclosures — mountain, pyramid, tomb, coffin — then breaks its own logic with a single image: the sun rises and goes mouldy. From that point, the world is Postapoland. Humans become beasts. The gods stop responding. What follows is blunt and fast, but it leaves residue: violence exhausts itself, and something like intimacy surfaces in its place. It reads less like a narrative arc than a fable that has forgotten its own moral.
The object matches the content. Printed in black and white on A4 stock, offset, and stapled, Postapoland sits closer to a pamphlet than a prestige publication. The page scale is poster-like — imagery that fills the format without apology. The stapled binding keeps it immediate and disposable-feeling, which is exactly right for a comic about a world that has already ended. Published by Hollow Press, the edition is limited to 1000 copies.
