Second Edition — Weird Tales of Postapoland
This listing is for the second edition, published June 2026 by Hollow Press.
Weird Tales of Postapoland is a full-color, 80-page anthology of short stories drawn and written by Polish artist Bartosz Zaskòrski. Set within the dystopian fiction of Postapoland, the book moves between classic comic panels, illustrated text, and hybrid visual formats — a structure that mirrors the instability of the world it depicts. The stories are grotesque, darkly comic, and occasionally nightmarish, drawing on Eastern European melancholy and absurdist satire to render post-human decay with a precise, unsettling humor.
Printed in A4 format on Palatina Ivory paper with a stitched softcover binding. In English.
About the Artist
Bartosz Zaskòrski is a Polish artist, illustrator, and musician known for his darkly humorous and grotesque storytelling. His drawings explore post-apocalyptic decay, absurd love, and anthropomorphic horror, often blending Eastern European melancholy with surrealism. He also performs as Mchy i Porosty, creating lo-fi electronic soundscapes.
Zaskòrski's Postapoland spans multiple publications. Readers new to the universe may also want to explore Postapoland, Terrotic: Love and Terror in Postapoland, and Bubzium – The Guidebook to Postapoland. Further titles are available in Experimental Comics & Graphic Narratives and the Lost Worlds & Imaginary Games collection.
