A combined edition of book and vinyl, initiated by IIKKI and released in December 2024
Lejos De La Tierra (Langt Fra Jorden) brings together a photobook by Spanish photographer Irene Zottola and a vinyl record by Copenhagen-based sound artist øjeRum (Paw Grabowski). Developed in dialogue between June and November 2024, the two works were conceived as a single conversation across image and sound — published together by IIKKI as a paired edition.
The Book
Lejos De La Tierra – Irene Zottola is Zottola's second photobook. Its 42 analog photographs trace a delicate passage through body, landscape, and memory. The images carry the soft grain and tonal restraint of analog process; collage elements surface within the sequence, dissolving the boundary between document and dream. The result is a visual work that moves slowly and stays close to the body.

About the Artists
Irene Zottola is a Spanish photographer and artist working at the limits of analog photography. Self-taught in Madrid within the Slow Photo collective since 2016, her practice combines photography, collage, and text to construct dreamlike and poetic worlds. Her work has been exhibited in Spain, Italy, and Morocco. In 2021 she received a VEGAP Grant to Creation. Her first photobook, Icarus, was a finalist at PhotoEspaña and at the Photobook Awards of Les Rencontres d'Arles 2022. Lejos De La Tierra is her second book.
øjeRum is the project of Copenhagen-based musician and collage artist Paw Grabowski. Working with treated acoustic instruments, he produces a minimal, textural ambient music that moves between bell-like tones, harp-like resonance, and sustained drones. His discography, active since 2014, spans labels including Room40, eilean rec., Line, and Opal Tapes.
