Zdzisław Beksiński: The Collected Works III, ver. 1.2 is the third volume in the Pan-Exotica series published by Éditions Treville, Tokyo. This expanded new edition, first released on 22 April 2021, gathers more than 140 drawings produced during the 1960s and 1970s — a period marked by erotic, aggressive, and biologically charged imagery that precedes Beksiński's transition into the large-scale painted works for which he became widely known.

The ver. 1.2 designation distinguishes this printing from earlier issues of the same edition: it incorporates two additional plates not present in the initial release. The binding is softcover, the format is A4, and the extent is 122 pages. Texts are provided in both Japanese and English. The book is distributed by Kawade Shobo Shinsha and printed and bound by Shinano Book Printing Co., Ltd. in Japan. Publisher-listed weight is approximately 700 g.

Textual contents include interviews with Beksiński and essays on his work. Contributors are Zdzisław Beksiński, Piotr Dmochowski, Anna Kania-Saj, and Yumeaki Hirayama. About the Artist

Zdzisław Beksiński (24 February 1929 – 21 February 2005) was a Polish painter, photographer, and sculptor born in Sanok, Poland. He studied architecture at the Kraków University of Technology before turning to avant-garde photography, sculpture, and drawing in the 1950s. By the 1960s he had shifted entirely to painting, producing detailed, often macabre imagery that he consistently declined to title. His first period is characterised by expressionistic colour and nightmarish architectural landscapes; a later period moved toward more abstract and formalist approaches. He also worked with digital computer graphics in his final years.
