Since 2016, IIKKI has operated as a French edition project built around a structured dialogue between a visual artist and a music artist. Each release takes two physical forms: a fine art book and a disc, issued as vinyl or CD.

The book and disc are conceived as paired imprints. The Photobooks format sits at the centre of IIKKI's visual output — printed with the same attention to material and sequence that defines the broader fine art book tradition. The disc carries a corresponding sound work. Neither format requires the other: each holds its own, while the pairing adds a further layer of relation between image and sound.
