About Takato Yamamoto
Born in 1960, Takato Yamamoto developed the Ukiyo-e Pop style into what he terms Heisei Decadence — a mode of illustration applied to aesthetic, fantasy, erotic, and historical novels, as well as cover art and advertising. He is a member of the International Ukiyo-e Society. His work is held across a range of artist publications in the shop.
